- To ensure inclusive access and increased participation of socio-economically disadvantaged groups within the institution.
- To focus on overall personality and skill development to enhance employability and ensure inclusive growth for everyone.
Mission:
- To oversee the effective implementation of policies and programmes for disadvantaged groups such as SCs/STs/OBCs (Non-Creamy Layer)/Persons with Disabilities/EWS, and to ensure their welfare.
- To promote diversity and inclusive practices on campus and provide the disadvantaged groups with adequate opportunities.
- To raise awareness regarding issues amongst stakeholders and help create an enabling and non-discriminative environment for the disadvantaged groups in the institution.
- To ensure implementation of policies, schemes, and programmes for the inclusion of underprivileged groups within the framework of policies and guidelines of the Bangalore University.
